Rita Urdaneta, a Venezuelan-born oil painting artist, brings the vibrant colors and rich culture of her homeland into her artwork, now flourishing in the artistic landscape of Toronto. Rooted in Venezuela's artistic traditions, Rita's passion for the arts was nurtured by her upbringing, where her mother's artistic influence ignited her creative spirit from a young age.

After graduating as a graphic designer in Venezuela, Rita embarked on a journey of artistic exploration, continuously seeking new techniques to express her vision. Her exploration led her to develop a spatula oil style, infusing her paintings with texture and depth.

Faith and beliefs form a cornerstone of Rita's inspiration, infusing her work with layers of meaning and spirituality. Her art serves as a medium through which she communicates her worldview, inviting viewers to contemplate deeper truths and connections.
